About Jackie · in her own words

She's worked every corner of a set.

I got my start in the locations department on Maid, then moved on to the series Chesapeake Shores, The Christmas House 2, and The Wedding Veil trilogy, along with 28 other movies of the week.

From there I was pulled into props on Chesapeake Shores for seasons 5 and 6, followed by If I Run, before stepping up as prop master on The Stars Between Us, Two for Tea, and the new Crave series YAGA.

On the creative side, I wrote, directed, and produced The Reel World. I directed and produced the indie film The Red Eye, which earned me a Best Director award and screened as an official selection at numerous other festivals. I also produced and first assistant directed the indie film Disc Jockey, and directed the music video "Lover" for Cinderella. I co-wrote the UK feature The Shadow Man with Stuart Quinn.

I wrote and directed a BC-wide commercial for The Tailgate Toolkit, part of a new marketing campaign, which played across 61 networks and stations. I also wrote the campaign's radio spot.

I'm a member of the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC), ACFC West, and the Vancouver Island South Film & Media Commission.
